Merry Christmas from Spencer
Dear Clients and Friends,
It’s hard to believe that another year has come to an end. We
extend a most heartfelt thank you to our continuing clients as well as
those who joined us in 2009. I personally feel blessed to work
with such a dynamic group of top-notch professionals while fulfilling
my passion to serve clients with innovative advisory services through
transforming organizations.
On behalf of all of us at Spencer Consulting Inc., we wish you a very
Merry Christmas and we look forward to continuing our relationships
throughout the coming new year. In
lieu of client gifts and cards this year, we are making a donation to
Dallas Real Estate Ministries (DREM) and helping a local family in need.

2009 - Year in Review
This
time of year, through the holiday season, is a time to remember,
reflect, refresh and re-energize. Spencer has been extremely fortunate
in 2009, in spite of a weakened economy; due to hard work, dedication
to sustaining great client partnerships, and strategic foresight.
Spencer's
approach is always the same...Determine the most effective way to do
more with less. In April of this year, Spencer president, Kathy Hansen
earned her Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®)
Professional Accreditation and became part of an elite group of
professionals across the country to hold such a designation (see http://www.usgbc.org/leedap)
In addition, Spencer senior associate Chaz Walker recently completed
his second week of training toward the Certified Commercial Investment
Member (CCIM) designation.
Many client partnerships were expanded in 2009, including CAS Partners, and its flagship brand Riverstone Residential, Women of Faith, Thomas Nelson Publishing, Cherry & Associates, LandPlan, Teel StratVisor, Edson-Neil, Bank of America Plaza, Skolix, and CREW Dallas.

Spencer
also had the privelege of celebrating four years as a company in July
2009, changing it's name from Spencer Commercial Real Estate to Spencer
Consulting Inc., to further emphasize its focus on becoming the premier
outsourced real estate solutions company in the industry.
One
of the primary goals of Spencer is to stay apprised of the
ever-changing market place, especially during the economically
challenging times that we live in. Spencer attended several conferences
throughout the year, including:
- The first annual NAA Green Conference & Exposition
- CoreNet Global Summit
- CREW Network Convention & Marketplace
- CCIM & IREM Success Series 2009 conference
